| "Echoes Through Time" (ETT) specializes in
educational studies, demonstrating and interpreting periods in our American
history. We provide a wide variety of educational and historical programs
showcasing our American Military from our nation's start at the American
Revolution through the modern age. We like to think of our personal
services as truly unique teaching tools for guests, visitors and educators.
We especially aide the educators who use our Learning Center, providing that
special visual aide or tool to help their students learn and understand
topics of interest. As for the various organizations, churches, tour groups
and the general public who visit us, we do our very best to help them
understand the history, concepts and facts to appreciate what our American
military have experienced and accomplished through the years in our nations
proud history.
ETT brings text book tactics and the stories behind our exhibit to life. Our
variety of weapons, equipment and uniforms that are on display aide our
effort in helping you, our guest, experience history in a way it is seldom
experienced in a museum or classroom setting.
We try to give our guest all our personal attention. As we talk about our
exhibit, showing how the displayed equipment and weapons that were actually
used -- not how it is seen on TV or in Hollywood movies. Having the
resources to feel, touch or hold original items that were used in a specific
time period help make history come alive! |
OUR STAFF
Our Learning Center is staffed by educated and knowledgeable “Living
Historians”, providing in-depth conversation of stories, facts and
histories regarding our exhibit and collection. Many of our Living
historians are educated in specialized areas or specialties, covering a
wide range of topics and time periods.
 | Our Living Historians are usually in period uniform or dress and can
answer, demonstrate or discuss most any topic of discussion. |
 | You will find our staff to be professional, polite and knowledgeable
and will be very involved in helping our guests and visitors understand
the historical periods we present and demonstrate. |
 | We take great pride in having the right personnel to deal with the
general public in a manor that is caring, respectful and dedicated. |
 | When our staff is on historical tours, they are usually in period
dress or uniform, giving our programs that extra touch, as we try to take
our guest “back into time” as we experience history together. |
 | Many of our Civil War staff are also members of the Sons of Unions &
Confederate Veterans, and are Civil War reenactors and members of our
local Civil War Round Tables.
This service is what we call our “hands on” history experience. |
