This unique reference book documents nearly 100 Civil War Freemasons buried at Buffalo's historic Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Each of these interesting short biographies documents the life of a civil war veteran, who were Freemasons. Each story includes a photo of the veteran, a brief military history of his service, and his known masonic connection with Freemasonry, along with any other known information about the veteran, including a picture of his grave.
Written and researched from our local historian and Executive Director of the Echoes Through Time Learning Center Steve Teeft.

He is the founder of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and Buffalo Music Awards, former publisher of Buffalo Backstage Magazine, coordinator of Tonawanda's Gateway Harbor Concerts, Assistant Curator of the New Cheektowaga Historical Association Museum, owner of Buffalo History Books publishing service.
Rick is UB graduate, USAF veteran, former employee of ASCAP (American Society of Authors, Composers & Publishers) and Time Warner retiree.
Rick presents classes on the History of Buffalo History and Music at libraries, community centers, schools, senior living centers and for various organizations.

The WNY Author’s Alliance will be scheduling events at restaurants, night-clubs and halls featuring talks by four to six authors and up to 10 authors exhibiting/selling/discussing their books. This is a new concept in entertainment - featuring talks by authors, with food and drinks from the venue. A laid back evening of entertainment where you can obtain information about books with information about the WNY area, meet area authors, have the opportunity to purchase books directly from the writers and associate with other people that share your literary interests.
